Sandiren led the regulatory stream for Batelco’s successful structural separation, driving the regulatory, economic, and operational frameworks that ensured a smooth transition. He advised cross-functional teams on regulatory compliance, pricing strategies, product roadmaps, and network evolution, aligning the project with market liberalization and investment-friendly principles. His strategic input was key to securing stakeholder alignment, mitigating risks, and completing the separation.
Telecom Industry Leadership
From June 2020 to January 2023, Sandiren led industry discussions as the key representative of Bahrain’s newly formed wholesale-only fiber entity, driving regulatory advocacy, industry engagement, and strategic policy updates.
